Replacing manual media reporting with an always-on view of spend

Automated data ingestion gave the team a clearer view of paid-media performance and the budget behind it.

Role
Growth marketing manager
Focus
Marketing reporting and attribution
Outcome
Always-on reporting for a six-figure peso budget

The team manually pulled data from several advertising platforms into spreadsheets, then manually selected the data required for charts. It was slow and made it difficult to see what was happening across the marketing budget. There was also limited visibility into where customers were coming from.

What I did

A practical way through the constraint

  1. 01

    Automate the repeated pulls

I set up API connections that brought advertising-platform data into a reporting environment without a daily manual export.

  2. 02

Build the views the team needed

The reporting layer showed the core metrics and charts needed to assess progress without rebuilding the same spreadsheet work.

  3. 03

Add a first pass at attribution

I also connected web-analytics data to create an initial view of customer touchpoints and identify gaps worth taking back to technology and data teams.

Result

What changed

The team had a more dependable view of channel performance and the six-figure peso budget it was managing. It also made it easier to focus on the channels that mattered and identify tracking gaps that needed wider support.
